Now that Becca and Dylan are too advanced to participate in the junior belt tournament Becca is an official and Dylan is supporting the rest of the club.

Please stand and bow to the instructors and officials, that's Be ca with the blue belt up the front :-)

The journey home

We didn't want to leave Taupo, but we had to.

On the way home we stopped at Waiouru to check out the Army Museum.  We found the medals of Mums great uncle ... Major General Sir William Gentry - or Uncle Bill!

The man didn't answer Dylan so he stuck his finger in his ear to check they weren't blocked!

Hello, is anyone out there?

We climbed on the tank outside but it was getting really cold so we didn't hang around :)

We had to stop in Taihape to sit on the gumboot, it was freezing after the sun and fun in Taupo.

We are back home now and can't wait to go back to Taupo again :-)

Sneaking off for a night time soak

We had so much fun at DeBretts this morning we convinced Mum we had to go back for a night swim.  It was really hot in the main pools but not so warm in the kids pools.  The night lights were awesome :)
  - Becca

News flash ... Becca wins minigolf

Dylan thought he was going to win, mum knew she had no chance and somehow I managed to win!  Mum & Dylan think the scoring might be dodgy but I don't care cause I won!  It was so hot, but it was loads of fun :)
  - Becca

Rest seat while Mum did her many shots. She won't let us forget she got a hole in one, so we won't let her forget she came last!

was trying to hide from the sun, there wasn't many shady places.

Huka Falls

OMG!! The water moved so fast.  It wasn't as big as we thought it would be but there was so much water.

Air jumping :)

At DeBretts there is a cool air jumping tramp.  We jumped for ages.

Even the sand around the tramp was hot, we met some kids from Christchurch who are here on holiday.

DeBretts pools

This morning we went to DeBretts pools. They were so hot and nice.  The two main pools were 37 and 39 degrees!! There was a cool waterside too, but that pool was only 25 degrees.  So relaxing.
